We have concluded the third quarter of the fiscal year (July 25-June 26). Thank you for your support of our parish's mission and ministries. In March, our average weekly collection was $22,705. You also generously donated to various important causes through our March special collections, totaling $22,219 or ($4,444) per week). This brings our weekly March total to $27,149. We budgeted our Sunday Offertory income (less special collections) for JUL-MAR (39 weeks x $25,000) at $975,000, and we received $959,000 (-$16,000).

This was a big week, as we reached an important milestone: we passed the $40 million mark! A year ago, we had not yet raised a single dollar. Today, thousands of faithful and committed stewards from every corner of the Diocese have responded with generosity, embracing not only the renewal of their parish communities, but also their own personal renewal in Christ. What a powerful testament to the living work of the Gospel and to what God can accomplish through hearts filled with faith, gratitude, and generosity.

The novena in honor of the Holy Spirit is the oldest of all novenas since it was first made at the direction of Our Lord Himself when He sent His apostles back to Jerusalem to await the coming of the Holy Spirit on the first Pentecost. It is still the only novena officially prescribed by the Church. Addressed to the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity, it is a powerful plea for the light and strength and love so sorely needed by every Christian.

Fr. Larry Percell was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. After much prayer, discernment, and consultation with his care team and family, he has chosen not to pursue aggressive treatment. He is very much at peace and is grateful to God for the richness of his life as a husband, father, and priest. Please keep him and your family in prayer as he continues his journey of faith and discipleship.
