Children’s Faith Formation is led by volunteer adult catechists and taught using the Finding God curriculum by Loyola Press. Finding God is based on a spiritual curriculum that integrates fundamental themes of the Catholic Church as well as scripture, prayer and social teachings.
Each class offers opportunities for children to encounter, talk about, and follow Jesus. We use guided reflections, prayer and multi-sensory resources, including art prints, music, poetry and videos, to provide an engaging learning environment.

All youth in 6th, 7th and 8th grades are invited to participate in our EDGE middle school program. This Catholic Youth Ministry program is led by our teen leaders and facilitated by volunteer adult catechists and usually meets in the Sr. E Teen Center at St. William Church.
EDGE provides a safe fun place for youth to experience Catholic community, to get answers to their questions about faith, and, most importantly, to experience Jesus in a profound and personal way. We usually start with a communal snack which is provided each week by parents. The EDGE program is designed for the physical, psychological, cognitive, relational, and spiritual maturation of middle school youth.
Programs begin in September and the schedule is posted to the Parish Calendar.

CREW is our volunteer leadership program. It is our core team that supports our youth ministries. They have different personalities, ages, ethnicities, backgrounds, talents and theological understandings. The one thing they definitely have in common is that no one is perfect. Our team is a combination of teens and adults who unite in their common mission to lead teens closer to Christ. CREW is a 1 year commitment starting in June and ending in May.

The Sanctuary Youth Series is a faith-based mental health program - Thursday Nights, starting January 8, 2026 from 6:30 to 8 pm in the Teen Center at Saint William Church
Meeting Dates:January 8, 15, 22, 29, February 5, 12, 26 and March 12, 2026
Note: parents who would like to join will be welcome to join a separate, parallel session up in Saint William Hall This will allow parents and teens to have their own peer groups and still experience the same content. All parents are welcome to attend, but we highly encourage your teens to join as well.
This series is designed to raise awareness and reduce stigma by starting conversations about mental health in youth ministry settings. By the end of this series, young people will have:
Increased their mental health literacy;
Reduced social and self stigma surrounding mental illnesses;
Learned how to care for their own mental health;
Developed positive attitudes towards help-seeking;
Cultivated a greater understanding of God and explored what it looks like to follow God in seasons of flourishing and languishing mental health; and
Engaged in spiritual practices of companionship.
This series is for:
Young people with questions about mental health and mental health challenges;
Young people living with mental health challenges;
Young people supporting family and friends with mental health challenges;
Youth ministry leaders who want to engage their students in conversations about mental health, mental health challenges, and faith.
Our target demographic is youth ages eleven to fifteen years old, but can go up to those in their senior year.
This resource is written for a Christian audience and lead by our parish Mental Health Ministry. It provides a theological framework for understanding mental health and explores key questions through theological, psychological, and social perspectives. That said, it assumes low biblical literacy so that young people at different places in their faith journey are able to engage with the content.
Session 1: What’s Good About Mental Health
Session 2: What Does the Bible Say About Mental Health?
Session 3: Why Do I Feel This Way?
Session 4: What Happens When We Talk About Mental Health Challenges?
Session 5: If You Have a Mental Health Challenge, Can You Get Better?
Session 6: How Can I Help My Friend?

We also offer summer retreats, a summer mission trip, and Vacation Bible Camp.
If you have 3 year olds to 5th graders, please register for our Faith Formation parent meeting & pancake breakfast on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 10 am here. Classes start Sunday, September 21 at 10 am in St. William Hall. Classes on are most Sundays, except holidays, through May.
If you have 6th to 12th graders, please register for the Youth Ministry Kickoff BBQ on Sunday, August 24 at 6:15 pm here.
We look forward to seeing your family at Our Masses each week. Children and Youth are also invited to take an active role at our monthly Children’s Mass (monthly from October to May at 9 am Mass) and Youth Mass (every Sunday night at 5 pm).
We encourage all of our parish families to also find some time at home to pray together each day (wake-up morning prayer, meals, and bedtime prayers) and encourage you to watch these weekly, 15-minute videos from Mark 10 Mission as a family each week. It is amazing how easily you can build your children's faith at home with just simple practices such as these.
We are always in need of volunteer catechists and adult leaders!
