Please join us for the Mass for the Care of Creation (Missa pro custodia creationis) presided over by Bishop Ligot at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph, 11:30 am. This Mass was developed during Pope Francis’ pontificate in response to requests for a liturgical way to celebrate the meaning of Laudato Si’ and to link liturgy with care for creation. It reflects Scripture, the Church Fathers, and Pope Francis’ vision for ecological responsibility. Followed by a parish recognition reception and light snacks.
Please join us for the Respect Life Mass presided over by Bishop Cantú at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph's 11:30 am service on October 11, 2026. The Respect Life movement within the Catholic Church emphasizes the importance of cherishing, defending, and protecting vulnerable lives from natural conception through natural death. It calls on Catholics to reflect on the Dignity of every human life, particularly during Respect Life Month, which is observed in October.
